The F4U Corsair was one of the most formidable American fighters of World War II. Japanese pilots regarded it as the toughest U.S. aircraft to face in combat, and naval aviators flying the Corsair achieved an extraordinary 11:1 kill ratio. Of the 12,500 Corsairs originally produced, only 30 survive today, with just 15 still flying—making each locket a rare and meaningful piece of aviation heritage.
