F-4 PHANTOM MODEL - CAMO
The McDonnell Douglas F‑4 Phantom II is widely regarded as one of the most successful fighter aircraft designs in aviation history. This two‑seat, twin‑engine, long‑range supersonic interceptor and fighter‑bomber was originally developed for the United States Navy, later becoming the first aircraft ever to be simultaneously used by the USAF, USN, and USMC. Capable of reaching speeds more than twice the speed of sound, the F‑4 set an impressive 16 speed, altitude, and time‑to‑climb records. Beyond U.S. service, it was also operated by nearly a dozen other countries.
This 1:155 scale model features the F‑4 in its Southeast Asia camouflage scheme, commemorating its deployment to the region in 1965. During this period, the 363d Tactical Reconnaissance Wing conducted photographic and electronic intelligence missions to support both air and ground operations—an essential role in gathering mission‑critical data throughout the conflict.
